I'm not a huge fan of sausage but this meal was simple and yummy. I served it with angel hair pasta and shredded mozzarella cheese. We also had salad and garlic bread.
Freezer to Crock Pot Sausage and Peppers
1 pound of Italian sausage
1 green pepper, sliced
1/2 red pepper, sliced
1/2 red onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can of diced Italian tomatoes
1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
Mix all the ingredients in a freezer bag and freezer flat.
To cook: Thaw in fridge overnight. Add 1 Tbsp of olive oil to the crock pot. Dump the sausage mix in the crock pot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
